Located in the heart of Mornington, only 45 minutes from Bayside Melbourne, my studio caters for a range of ages, styles and mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, textiles, felting, collage and mixed media. Katrina is a highly experienced, registered Visual Arts educator with over 33 years teaching experience - 26 of those in P - 12 Independent Colleges in Bayside Melbourne.

  • We offer weekly term courses for children and teenagers. Each term, students explore a variety of artists, styles, mediums and techniques within a unique tailored theme.

  • We offer school holiday workshops to keep your child’s imagination alive. Students will explore techniques such as drawing, painting and ceramics. All Workshops are planned carefully to teach new skills in a supportive, fun and flexible way within a theme.

  • This Artful Life offers unique weekend workshops throughout the year that are specifically designed short courses to develop skills and creativity.

  • This Artful Life offers short term visual arts tutoring for students between years 5 - 12. Contact us to learn more and book in.

  • This Artful Life offers a variety of workshops tailored to all your needs.

    Family Workshops
    Create a collaborative special artwork in any medium. These activities are a wonderful way to connect with your family.

    Business Workshop
    The perfect team building activity to do with your colleagues. Either onsite or in my studio.

    Minimum of 4 to book - Maximum of up to 12

    Special Event Workshop
    We can provide a tailored workshop for any occasion, whether it be a birthday or Mother’s Day gift, we can provide you with a unique workshop for any event.

This Artful Life

    NO Class due to Labour Day on Monday 10th March

  • Monday 28nd April – Saturday 5th July

    Monday 1st June - 21st June NO CLASSES due to travel thus Term 2 is a short term of 7 weeks.

Term 4 2024

  • Throughout this term, students explore a variety of artists, styles, mediums and techniques within a unique tailored theme. Mediums will include; Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Textiles and Feltmaking

  • $410 per 8 week term - all materials included

Upcoming Workshops

  • During this school holiday program, students will explore techniques such as drawing, painting and ceramics.

  • $175 - per day. Fee includes all materials and two firings of ceramics

Adults Workshop

  • A 2-day ceramic’s workshop where students will design and make to completion a hand-made ceramic vessel.

    Only 3 students per class for individual attention, with a table to yourself

    A beautiful pampering morning tea is provided, for you to enjoy all day as you work

  • $380 - includes 2 day course, all materials, and morning tea.
