A 2-day ceramic’s workshop where students will design and make to completion a hand-made ceramic vessel.

• 2-day workshop

• All materials included - just bring a smile

• Only 3 students per class for individual attention, with a table to yourself

• A beautiful pampering morning tea is provided, for you to enjoy all day as you work

Day 1

11.00am - 3.00pm

Students will design and make to completion a hand-built ceramic vessel of your choosing celebrating the texture and 3D form of the medium’s possibilities. It will then need to dry and be fired over a couple of weeks before your second workshop.

Students will have the choice of using either a white earthenware or stoneware clay OR a raku OR terracotta clay.

Day 2

11.00am - 2.00pm

Students will learn about their glaze options of either underglazes OR gloss glaze for their work. The piece will then be fired again after the class and we will be in contact with you when it is ready for collection within two to three weeks dependent upon the work’s drying times.
